Welcome to Hannah's world, where you live your life just the way
you are!
Ten years ago,
when it meant living off less than $300 a week, Hannah quit her career
as a behavior therapist to stay home
and raise her children. Instead of relying on money, she learned early
how to use creativity, persistence, and hard work to make her dreams
a reality. This lifestyle led to wisdom well beyond her years. So with
a heart full of love and a head full of insight Hannah embarked on
a career in writing, public speaking,
and product development and sales, with the full intent of reaching
those individuals who echoed her own life – mothers.
Her writing career blossomed early on. Beginning in the late 90s,
she published a newsletter for stay-at-home parents, Home by Choice,
that reached national recognition and later pursued freelance writing.
She has been published in many different magazines, including Family
Circle, Parentlife, Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion,
and Family Fun. In December 2004, her first book hit store
shelves. Hannah's Art of Home: How to Manage a Home around your
Personality (Capital Books) is a novel approach to home management
that is based on understanding and working with your personality style.
Hannah not only enjoys caring
for her children, but pampering them as well. As a matter of fact,
she would love nothing more than to have
the opportunity to pamper children everywhere. Ever since the birth
of her first child in 1993, she has concocted her own lotions, balms,
and treatments out of natural and organic ingredients. This little
hobby eventually grew into HK Baby, a company offering a complete line
of the finest baby spa products available. These baby products
are all natural, all vegan, and all scrumptious.
She is also in the process of launching a magazine/catalog that is
geared toward families. HK magazine will supply witty and informative
articles alongside tried and true products that are designed to not
only make home life more efficient, but more enjoyable as well.
All this on top of home educating her six children? Hannah
follows her passion and that makes it all possible. That's the trick;
and she is ready to help you do the same.
