Welcome To Hannah's World!

Hannah Keeley graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC with a degree in psychology and continued her education at West Georgia College while she embarked on a career as a behavior therapist. After several years as a therapist, Hannah decided to bring her practical experience in psychology to an entirely new position as a full-time mother. At that time, there were few motivational resources for stay-at-home parents, so she launched a newsletter, Home by Choice that reached national recognition. This position led to weekly appearances on the Arizona Morning show, where she showed a flair for both live and recorded television by offering helpful advice and creative projects for families. Around this same time, Hannah also began a daily inspirational two-minute radio spot that was picked up by Family Life Radio.

Publishing a newsletter eventually evolved into free-lance writing. She wrote regularly on home and family issues for such publications as Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion, Family Circle, Christian Health, and even had a monthly article in Parentlife magazine.

During this time, Hannah was building her platform in the media as a home and family specialist. Choosing to homeschool her own children has enlarged that platform to include homeschooling families, which is growing by 20% yearly. Currently, she is a popular speaker within this community as well as other parenting organizations, such as MOPS (Mothers Of PreschoolerS) and MOMS club.

Being keenly in touch with family and home issues, Hannah noticed the lack of personalized home management techniques. Not everyone can (or should) be a domestic diva. But everyone can and should have a home that enriches their spirit. Combining her knowledge and background in psychology with her compassion and skill in the home arts, Hannah launched her first book, Hannah’s Art of Home: How to Manage Your Home Around Your Personality (Capital Books, 2005). Being a small, regional publishing house, Capital Books was limited in their promotional ability. However, through her speaking engagements and other forms of self-promotion, Hannah has been able to sell thousands of copies of her book.
Launching this book in January 2005 has already led to local and national publicity.

Hannah has been featured in such publications as The Richmond Times, The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, The Syracuse Post-Standard, Redbook, Ranch & Coast, Budget Decorating, Richmond Magazine, Decorating Solutions, Homelife, and Organic Style. She has also been featured in a plethora of websites, including housekeepingchannel.com, on which she serves on the Board of Advisors, she has also made several local television appearances. In addition, Hannah was featured as a lifestyle coach on a recent TLC special titled, House of Twins. She amazed televisions audiences by single-handedly transforming two cluttered bedrooms into two beautiful retreats.

Hannah Keeley is an acclaimed author, speaker, and media personality that is quickly gaining the attention of mothers everywhere. Her first book, Hannah’s Art of Home helped women learn how to manage their homes around their personalities. Her second book, which will be released by Little, Brown and Company in the Spring of 2007 is titled Hannah Keeley’s Total Mom Makeover, and is a unique and fun six-week program that will help moms improve their homes, health, families, and lives.

She has also launched an online magazine that is geared toward families. TotalMom Magazine supplies witty and informative articles alongside tried and true tips and advice that are designed to not only make home life more efficient, but more enjoyable as well.

In addition to writing, speaking, and managing a complete website for moms (www.totalmom.com), Hannah is also a full-time homeschooling mother to her seven children. She and her family live in the Richmond, VA area, where they constantly struggle with getting grass to grow in their front lawn and keeping up with the laundry.
